"A Walk Around Town"

Give a webmaster a cheap instant camera, a roll of 24 film exposures, and five minutes of hurried instructions in its use - and what is the result? No, not rioting in the streets (at least not in law-abiding Boolaroo). You get a pile of photos, some of which turned out okay, and a webmaster tired, dirty and wet from trudging through riverbank mangroves and up and down hills for that "elusive shot".

On this page the small "thumbnail" versions of the photos are presented. Click on the image to access the individual page, featuring a verbose commentary and the full-sized photo. To see a picture's commentary with the thumbnail image displayed instead of a larger photo select the coresponding "compact" option above the image. The compact version will load much faster.

These colour images are heavily compressed JPEGs and so don't have the clarity of the originals. If you require original-quality digital copies of any of these images for school project, reports, or whatever, please email a request, stating the image name (eg "1stdwn.jpg"), to the Site Maintainer.
