The centre services an area comprising the Lake Macquarie suburbs of Boolaroo, Speers Point, Warners Bay, Mt Hutton and lakelands.

This year the centre has expanded their services to include the sale of inexpensive reconditioned computers. The machines are rebuilt onsite from quality used parts and loaded with licensed software. The aim of this project is to provide low-cost computers, equipment and service to low-income families.

The centre provides the following services:

• Advice on housing and accomodation services
• Information
• Education Classes
• Help with Resumes and Job Applications
• Filling in of forms
• Referrals
• Fax and photocopying facilities
• Advocacy
• Large range of information booklets
• Free Tax Return help for low income earners
• Book Exchange
• A range of leisure, health and computing classes including:
  • Art (Oils, Acrylics, Pastels & Watercolours)
  • Budget Cooking
  • Decoupage
  • Exercise
  • Computing for Beginners
  • Computerised accountancy
  • Desktop Publishing
